Letter 1: We Do Not Stand on the Seashore and Wash Our Hands with Spittle.
Dear Omobolanle,
There is a saying that "We do not stand on the seashore and wash our hands with spittle." See, there are those who camp there— inside beach sand— by the sea, ignoring the abundance of water. But I know that you are not like that. Yes! You are a town hall that is different from-- (I think you get it). See, (me) I know that you have more than a sea. Yes! The Lord is more than a sea. He is infinite. In fact, we cannot measure the Lord. So is the wisdom in Him. And when we are unsure what to do, we should ask him. Apostle James says it in his letter [James 1:3-6] that God gives generously and we must not doubt.
So, Omobolanle, do not worry. Instead tell God what it is and ask him what to do about it. When you are directed back to his word remember that it is because his word is his voice. And it is sufficient.
Do not worry. It is well with you.
P.S. I should have sent this letter weeks ago. Still, I believe that you will find it timely in whatever season it meets you.
Yours in highs and lows
Uncle Akin
